COVID-19 SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Live online classes: Weekly classes will still be offered as live streams in Zoom. When reserving a class in the Mind Body app, be sure to book the class option labeled ONLINE to attend the live online session.
Pre-register for classes: All students are required to pre-register for each class using the Mind Body app. Students may pre-register for the current month starting on the 1st. For example, booking for all of July is open and available July 1.
Strict no-show policy enforced: Social distancing protocols and the resulting capacity limitations will place a premium on the in-studio classes. As a result, we will be adhering strictly to our four-hour cancellation and no-show policy for all in-studio classes; no exceptions. If you do not cancel your reserved class within 4 hours of the class start time, you will be charged the full drop-in, class pass, or per class membership rate. No-shows will be charged the full drop-in rate. This will apply to members, class-pass holders, and single class rate students alike.
Outdoor classes have expanded: The number of students permitted in each outdoor class will increase to 15 students spaced 6-feet apart. In the event of poor weather, outdoor classes (with the exception of Sunday’s 12p Strength and Stretch) will be offered as a livestream in Zoom
Minimum six feet between students during class: In the lobby and during the check-in process, students will be asked to maintain a minimum of six feet of separation. Designated spaces will be pre-marked with colored tape on the floor in the main studio room. Spots will be marked in the lobby with colored tape on the floor as well.
Masks Required: Masks must be worn before and after class. Students may remove their masks during class but then will be asked to put it back on when the class is finished.
No touch check-in process: Upon arrival, students must use hand sanitizer located at the front desk. Each student will then be checked in by the front-desk manager or instructor. Hand sanitizer will also be available at multiple locations inside the studio, and students are encouraged to wash their hands as well.
Deep cleaning between each class: Our schedule will be designed with a minimum of half hour between each class to allow time for the floor, surfaces, and bathrooms to be disinfected.
Doors will open 15-minutes before class. Due to the small number of students and to promote social distancing before class, students are encouraged not to show up earlier than 15-minutes prior to class.
Shoes: Remove your shoes as soon as you enter the building. Due to reports that the virus can be carried on shoes and because students walk around in barefeet, street shoes must be removed and left at the entrance.
BYO Mats: Students must bring all their own props (yoga mats and blocks) to class.
Studio Rental: Studio rentals are available but strictly limited to TWO people at a time. All renters are expected to use hand sanitizer/wash hands upon arrival, remove their shoes, and follow all other safety policies and procedures.
All students must sign a new waiver: Before returning to the studio, every student must read and sign a new waiver. The waiver is available for download here. If possible, please download, read, print and sign it before coming to an in-studio class. If you are unable to download and sign before coming to class, we will have copies to sign at the studio.
Travel Light: Leave as much in your car as possible, only bring the essentials (pre-filled water bottle, phone, keys) into the studio.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What do I wear?
Comfortable clothing for YOU. Whatever you can move in! Footwear can include tennis shoes or bare feet work great as well! For ballet or jazz, students can choose to wear ballet slippers or jazz shoes. Classes that may involve floor work, like chair dance, lyrical, and burlesque technique, knee pads are recommended to protect your knees. Some students opt to wear high heels for chair dance or burlesque technique, but this is not necessary! Only if you are comfortable in them.
Where do I park?
Downtown St. Cloud has plenty of metered street parking for $0.50 per half hour and FREE after 6pm and free on Saturdays and Sundays. There is also a parking ramp directly behind our studio, on the North side.
What if I have no prior experience?
NO PROBLEM. Lucent Movement Arts was created with you in mind. We believe anyone can start doing dance, aerial, fitness, or yoga at ANY time in their life - so no experience is necessary. Our instructors have adequate training and experience to teach to varying levels and maintain a comfortable, welcoming environment.
What if group classes aren't for me?
No problem. We offer private lessons and training both in studio and off-site. Please complete our contact form or visit Mind Body for private session availability. We also offer VIRTUAL learning options. Check out our schedule in the Mind Body app and book the class labeled "Online" to sign up.
Do I have to be flexible to do yoga or aerial?
Nope! Not at all. We are here to meet you exactly where you are at today, right now, exactly as you are. There are LOTS of things you can do and ways you can move that do not require a lot of flexibility. Instructors can guide you in safely increasing your flexibility, and coming to class regularly can also help increase flexibility and range of motion.
What if I have an injury? Can I still participate?
Always consult your physician and get clearance for physical activity first, and be sure to let your instructor know about any injuries.
Please read thoroughly and contact the studio if you have additional questions.
